Sandy was born and raised in Havre de Grace, Maryland. She is a 1981 graduate of the Havre de Grace High School. After graduation she attended Valley Forge Christian College for one year where she met her husband, Mark and they were married in 1982. Mark Caston is the Lead Pastor of The Bridge Church.
Pastor Mark and Sandy are blessed with two daughters, Erica and Bethany. Travis and Erica Cogle are married and reside in Lancaster, PA. They are the parents of Jackson and London Cogle. Dan and Bethany Sarna are married and reside in Hamburg. They are the parents of Luca, Gianna and Eliana and Bethany is the director of Sonshine Children's Center.
Sandy has often worked closely along side her husband throughout their years in the ministry as church secretary, but in 2001 she assumed the position of Director of Ministries here at The Bridge. Her previous experience in business has included Vanguard Investment Company, Valley Forge Christian College and the Environmental Protection Agency.
Her primary role as Director of Ministries includes overseeing and managing the Master Calendar, Church office, special church events, and Ministry Development. Sandy also leads the Bridge Women's Ministry and is active in our community.
