Connie grew up on a farm in Kutztown, PA and graduated from high school there. Although raised in church, she made a personal commitment to Christ as a mother of 2 young children at the age of 28. She began back yard Bible Clubs through Child Evangelism Fellowship at McGuire AFB, which sparked a call to Children’s Ministry. She then, served over 25 years in full and part-time ministry as a licensed Children’s Pastor. At her former church, she also used her experience and skills as a certified biblical counselor to the teens and women.
Connie & Her husband Terry, attended and were active members at The Bridge Church from 2012-2015 before moving to NJ, to live with their daughter. In March of 2024, they returned to the Hamburg area and felt the call to “home” once again at The Bridge Church, where she now serves part-time as an admin.
Connie and Terry have 5 grandchildren (Jared, Joel, Lauren, Julie and Edge). When she is not reading or doing jigsaw puzzles, you can find her out and about enjoying nature.
Connie has also had a love of writing throughout the years. She has written Op-Ed articles for the local newspaper, created a children’s mission curriculum, a Gospel booklet for 5th& 6th graders for a mission agency, devotional material and numerous magazine articles. She has authored a non-fiction book, My Life in Pieces- (Shattered by Satanic Ritual Abuse, Splintered by Dissociative Identity Disorder, Redeemed and Restored), which has sold in 7 different countries.
She has ministered and spoken on mission trips both stateside and internationally in South Africa, Madagascar, Poland, Ukraine and Russia. She has a passion for the pro-life agenda and speaking hope to the hearts of the broken; especially to those who have been sexually exploited. She loves the phrase – “Let’s make heaven crowded!”
